In this article I show you how to install and configure IPTV Simple Client and how to install and configure IPTV Recorder. I personally do not stream live TV but have created these instructional videos on how one can install, configure and use IPTV Simple Client, IPTV Merge, and IPTV Recorder.
IPTV Simple Client and IPTV Merge
IPTV Simple Client is a TV channel streaming addon that is supported by the Kodi team. It has all the basic functionality to add channel lists and an associated guide. The challenge with IPTV Simple client is that it only can handle a single TV channel list and a single guide. Typically you want the ability handle multiple TV channel lists and associated guides. This is where IPTV Merge comes in. It allows you to create multiple channels lists and/or guides and merges them into a single list that IPTV Simple Client can use. IPTV Recorder
IPTV Recorder is a TV channel recording addon that is supported by the Kodi team. IPTV Recorder also groups channels based on their metadata (e.g. Sports, News, etc.) as well as allows you to create favorites and setup recordings - either by show and/or timers. IPTV Recorder fully integrates with IPTV Simple Client. The following video shows you how to install, configure and use IPTV Recorder.
