How To? - Get Into a SentrySafe

In this article I show how to get into a SentrySafe. There are 4 potential ways to gain access to the safe:

• Cut the Safe open (intrusive)
• Use a "rare earth" magnet to pull the solenoid that holds the locking pin (non intrusive)
  • requires a magnet with at least 200 lbs of pulling power (per side)
  • use a barcode scanner to recover the code
• Use a serial line logic analyzer to reverse engineer the coms lines (complicated and time consuming approach)
• Find your original owners manual as the code is on a sticker (something I eventually did but too late to rescue the safe)
