In this article I show how to change the key remote batteries for a Mercedes ML550. Unfortunately, Mercedes have many different types/styles of keys and they all open differently. My key has two different "sliders": 1 - to release the spare key and 2 - to remove the battery compartment. My key looks like this:
The remote takes 2 x CR2025 batteries:
