Decided to pick up a portal travel safe. These are handy for hockey dressing rooms (for added protection), when visiting a beach, vacation hotel rooms, etc. They are small portal lockboxes that you can lock to a immovable object via a cable.
Of course these are not completely secure as they are just made of a strong plastic but do add an extra layer of a deterrent from a snatch and grab thief.
You can set the combination to a 3 digit combination and are big enough to store your key valuables - wallet, passport, phone, keys, etc.
After trying out the lockbox, I can safely say that these are a must for anyone who wants a bit more security for their valuables. I got mine for $30 from China.
