This article describes how to fix streams not running within the DaddyLive Addon in Kodi when. In my case, I tested using Kodi AMLogic 21.2 (21.2.0) running in CoreElec 21.2-Omega and the CoreElec Addon version 4.56. I also tested the same version of the Addon on an Android install and it is working.

Issue

When I was using the DaddyLive Addon in Kodi, the same version of the Addon appeared to work in Android but not in CoreElec. It also is not working for others using certain ISPs.

Solution

Typically there are two possible issues assuming that you have properly installed the latest version of the DaddyLive Addon:

1 - You are using a VPN that is configured in such a way that it is blocking the DaddyLive site(s)

2 - Your ISP is blocking the DaddyLive site(s)

VPN Blocking DaddyLive
I compared the installs that I was testing (CE and Android) and noticed that the CoreElec (CE) version is also running a VPN. Once I disabled the VPN, DaddyLive started working again. I tested multiple VPN locations and as a result was able to prove that this is the root cause for not being able to stream using DaddyLive. Disabling the VPN fixes the issue. I will further investigate which aspects of the VPN are causing the conflict, however, apparently certain VPN features, such as "Clean Web" (Surfshark), ad-blockers, or firewalls, can block the necessary connections for DaddyLive streams. Temporarily disable these features to test if they are the source of the conflict.

Your ISP is Blocking DaddyLive

When I investigated the issue for some others who can no longer run DaddyLive, I was able to determine that their ISP is using their advanced security tools to start blocking the DaddyLive sites - considering them as suspect. Disabling advanced security tools fixes the issue and these folks started working again.

if you are not sure if your ISP is blocking DaddyLive, simply login to your ISP account and check the logs for any blocked sites/services.
