How to Train in from Munich Airport
So you successfully made it to Munich but are at the airport. Now how to get to the main train station.
Follow the green “S” signs to the S1 or S8 trains. These are the only trains at the airport and both go to the main train station. The only trains are the S1 or S8. The S1 and the S8 both stop at Hauptbahnhof, the central station. So take the first one that arrives.
You can buy the tickets for the S-Bahn at a machine (which can be switched to English) or either at the DB travel center or at the info (left luggage) desks of the airport.
Single trip ticket is EUR 10,80 per person.
Now just make your way over to the Hotel Ibis
